Robert “Bobby” Deraco is CEO of Synapse, a full-service digital agency that specializes in generating demand and leads for growing companies. A strategic marketer with more than 25 years’ experience, Bobby and his team at Synapse have developed and guided successful marketing strategies for more than 550 companies in the technical, manufacturing, entertainment, and consumer product industries. Before founding Synapse in 2007, Bobby built a successful career with a F500 marketing company before going into enterprise sales, earning a spot as the top salesperson globally from 2005-2007.

Bobby’s expertise shines in the areas of Strategic Marketing Planning, Go to Market Strategy, Digital Transformation, Branding, Web, and Growth Strategy. Capable of developing and managing large, complex projects, Bobby maintains personal hands-on involvement in some of Synapse’s biggest Branding, Digital Marketing, Website, and Marketing Technology implementations. A lifelong student of marketing and business building, his lead and demand generation strategies have created more than $2B in new revenue for Synapse’s clients – along with more than 50 industry awards.

Bobby’s interest in innovative entrepreneurship and leadership has evolved into a meaningful career helping people and businesses achieve their potential. He has been instrumental in guiding Synapse’s vision, and developing the products, processes, and people that have propelled it to success. Beyond leading a team of 35 professionals at Synapse, Bobby has founded or co-founded 14 companies. His proudest entrepreneurial achievement is being honored with a place on the Inc. 500 for growing Synapse into a nationally recognized marketing firm. He regularly speaks, writes, and advises on various areas of marketing strategy.

Beyond his business interests, Bobby is a devoted husband and proud father of three daughters, two dogs, and a grandson. When he’s not spending time with his family and friends, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and the great outdoors.
