Stop marketing. Start Communicreating™.

Imagine a community of loyal customers who patronize your business regularly, sing praises of their experience, and buy into why you do business. Maybe you’ve read about it on LinkedIn or worked with a marketing agency who promised it to you (and failed to deliver). It sounds too good to be true.

But it’s not too good to be true. Flashing a new logo, glomming onto the next cultural trend, or masterminding the latest slick sales promo is not going to get you there. It’s not ten simple steps or a sign on the dotted line. It’s deeper than that. It starts with your values. It ends with sustainable growth and the best ROI you can get.

PennairHosting Manufacturer: PennAir

In 1968, Jim and Mary Conrad opened Penn-Air Company in a rented garage with only three product lines. In less than five years, the company outgrew both its space and name. The Conrads moved the new Penn-Air & Hydraulics Corp. to a former fire station in downtown York, giving them the opportunity to grow their product lines and their workforce.

Fueled by strong relationships with suppliers, Jim expanded Mid-Atlantic region operations with Pneu-Force in 1988. It wasn’t long before both companies needed more space. In 1996, he combined operations into a 24,000-square-foot headquarters on York’s Industrial Highway, and in 2000 acquired then competitor Konstance Pneumatics.

In 2022, PennAir shifted to align with its acquisitions made in the last few years with the creation of a holding company, The Conrad Company. The Conrad Company is an ever-growing collection of dependable manufacturing, distribution, service, and repair brands in the U.S.

Fast forward to 2024, PennAir, now celebrating its 55th anniversary, continues Jim’s legacy of helping people in manufacturing and construction with pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation.
