MANTEC is a member of the Industrial Resource Center network in PA and the NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) focusing on achieving measurable results and outcomes. Since 1996, MEP has used an independent third-party organization to administer surveys to MANTEC’s clients approximately six months after they complete their first project. Businesses are asked to report the impact of MANTEC’s services and support in any/all of the following areas:
- Sales
- Jobs created/retained
- Capital investment
- Cost savings
MEP surveys clients for two primary reasons:
- To collect aggregate information on program performance indicators to report to various stakeholders.
- To provide specific program performance and impact information for MANTEC’s use. The MEP review process places a strong emphasis on MANTEC’s ability to demonstrate impacts based on the survey results.
About the survey:
- There are 13 questions and takes an average of 10 minutes to complete.
- Questions focusing on:
- Challenges faced
- Financial and other impacts achieved
- And a recommendation rating of MANTEC services
- Clients can be surveyed for multiple projects
- Manufacturers receive a letter or email notice if chosen to participate
- All questionnaire responses are confidential and unaudited
