Scott W. Sipe is the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Technology for MANTEC and has been with the company since January 1998. His responsibilities include oversight of the organization’s finances, grants and contracts and the corporate information systems. Scott also delivers information technology planning and consulting services to the manufacturers in the MANTEC region. These services include business process analysis and selection facilitation oriented towards business software, network infrastructure assessment and planning, technology security assessment and planning, implementing broadband strategies, technology strategic planning and technical training.
Before joining MANTEC, Scott spent many of his years working in the manufacturing and distribution industry. Prior work experience with manufacturers has provided Scott with the perspective he needs to assist manufacturers with developing and implementing technology strategies that will in turn help the company meet its mission.
Additionally, Scott spent 3 years teaching adult students at a local technical institute. His focus was CompTIA A+ Certification, CompTIA N+ Certification and courses that prepared students for Microsoft Certification.
Scott serves on both the national and state Advanced Manufacturing Technology working groups. He is also a private pilot and owns a Cessna 172 Skyhawk occasionally donating his time and aircraft for the Angel Flights East Hope in Flight charity.
Scott holds a degree in Business and Finance and is also CompTIA Network + Certified, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Trainer.
Scott is a member of the American Grant Writers Association and is a Certified Grant Writer®.
Scott and his wife reside in Dover and own also own a home in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Three grown children reside in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington.
