Doug serves as Professional Business Advisor (PBA) for Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Perry, and Southern York Counties. Since joining MANTEC in 2005, Doug has progressed through roles in administration, accounting, reporting, service delivery, sales, and consulting.
As PBA, Doug enjoys working with owners, executives, and business leaders to fully understand their challenges, then identify and implement proven solutions to overcome their obstacles. Serving dozens of manufacturers per year, the PBA is uniquely positioned to grow a working knowledge of best practices and pitfalls across a wide variety of business issues and objectives. This body of experience, as well as the network of resources available through MANTEC, allow Doug and his regional counterparts to make right-sized recommendations that fit each client’s individual situation.
Doug has been integrally involved in numerous MANTEC strategic and process optimization initiatives, and he holds certifications in LEAN Continuous Improvement, Business Continuity Planning, and Innovation Engineering. In 2010, he was presented the MEP Unsung Hero Award, a national recognition of his behind-the-scenes efforts in database report writing, organizational metrics, accounting, administration, and other support. Doug has received numerous accolades for academic excellence, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Central Penn College, and is currently pursuing his MBA through York College of Pennsylvania.
Outside the office and classroom, Doug loves family time, reading, dabbling under the hood of a car, and outdoor activities including golf, carp fishing, and managing a 2,000-square-foot garden.
