David S. Hanan joined MANTEC in August 1998 and served as a Professional Business Advisor for 15 years. In recent years, David achieved Six Sigma Master Black Belt status completing projects, as well as, training and mentoring Green and Black Belt candidates in many different industries.
David is now the Six Sigma Development Manager for MANTEC. In this role, David teaches the MANTEC Six Sigma Shop Floor, Yellow, Green and Black Belt certification courses and develops customized coursework to satisfy corporate requests and requirements. David also facilitates company teams to solve tough process problems using the DMAIC root cause problem solving process and 6 Sigma tools including the Quarterly Defect Reduction Program.
Mr. Hanan brings to MANTEC clients 25+ years of experience in technical and logistical problem solving as an engineer, project manager, and plant manager with projects involving systems, engineering and resource allocation. Experiences included selecting and implementing ERP systems, managing manufacturing operations, plant layouts, new product development, and shop floor troubleshooting.
Mr. Hanan gained much of his experience at Ingersoll-Rand as a Plant Manager, Manufacturing Systems Engineer, and Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Additionally, he worked for Champion Road Machinery and as a Manufacturing Systems Consultant. Mr. Hanan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, both from Lehigh University.
