Nonprofit Innovation Award
MANTEC has been honored as the winner of the 2013 Nonprofit Innovation Awards in the category of Management Operations.
In an event with 420 people hosted by the Central Penn Business Journal, MANTEC was selected #1 for its proven internal innovation system, rolling out services to benefit its clients and fulfill its mission of “driving manufacturing growth and innovation.” 100% of MANTEC staff has been trained in the Innovation Engineering Management System.
The Innovation Engineering Management System challenges users to clearly articulate the problem, promise, proof and potential death treats of an idea. Ideas that are deemed viable are then selected to go through the next level process stages of “Define, Discover, Develop and Deliver.” The goal of the innovation process is to “Fail Fast, Fail Cheap” and kill unrealistic ideas before resources are invested. MANTEC is actively working with a local apparel company as well as a specialty packaging organization.
The latest successful MANTEC innovation project was the Business Growth Conference held on March 14th. We had over 175 attendees at our event, including many manufacturing CEOs. One participant commented that “this conference was very well designed, easy to register and great topics! I loved the personalized agenda. It made me feel welcome.”
