The York County Economic Alliance will host the 2017 Annual Dinner on Friday, April 28 which will include an awards ceremony honoring the recipients of the Small Business of the Year, Ignite Young Professional and ATHENA awards.  The 2017 Ignite Award recipient is Leigh Ann Wilson.

The Ignite Award recognizes young business leaders between the ages of 21 and 40 in the York Community for their career success, participation in professional development activities, community involvement and influence they have had on other young business leaders.

Leigh Ann Wilson is the Marketing Manager at MANTEC.  As a marketing department of one, Leigh Ann’s numerous and diverse contributions over the past 9 ½ years include major events, marketing materials, business development, website and reporting.  In addition to her MANTEC marketing responsibilities, she serves as a marketing resource for several manufacturing clients.  Leigh Ann focused on the United Way of York County to invest her time in order to have the broadest impact in the community.  She is the current Emerging Leaders Society Chair, a Board Member and the Building Future Leaders of York County Conference chair.  Leigh Ann is a graduate of Juniata College, with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communication and has her MBA from Penn State, Behrend.  Leigh Ann’s organizational skills keep her York household running smoothly while raising her two children, Nolan and Odette, alongside her husband, Matt.
